Postoperative recovery



In the postoperative period there is a swelling of the tissues that causes nasal congestion. After a certain time it passes. On the first day it is desirable to raise the head part of the bed to 30 degrees for the prevention of excessive edema. In this exalted state it is recommended to sleep the first week.   8. Do not wear glasses for 1 month after surgery, since they cause a constant pressure and may deform the nose. If necessary, it is better to use contact lenses.
  9. Avoid direct sunlight on exposed skin within three months after the operation. Use sunglasses.
  10. No smoking for at least 2 weeks before and after surgery.
